Wonday is yours first. Most of what you write here, most people will never show anybody, and that is a perfectly good way to use it.
When you do share, you are sharing with people who are doing the same thing: writing down where they have been, where they are, where they are going. That is a quieter kind of company than most apps offer, and these rules exist to keep it that way.
You choose how visible you are. Keep your account private, or be in the world. Follow someone and they never know. Connect with someone and the two of you see each other from then on, never before. Nobody here will think less of you for staying private, and nothing in the app will push you up.
What you put in the Lockbox is never shared. Not with the people you are connected to, not when your account is public. That is built in, not a promise we are asking you to trust — there is deliberately no way for anything to publish out of it.
Be decent to people who are being honest in public. That is most of it.
1. Take care with what people share. Someone writing about her life is taking a small risk. Meet it properly. Encourage, or say nothing.
2. Do not repost anyone else's day. Not their words, not their photos, not a screenshot, nowhere. What someone shares here, they shared here.
3. Be yourself. Your own photos, your own account, one each.
4. No advice you are not qualified to give. Encouragement is welcome. Telling someone what to do about her health, her money or her marriage is not.
5. Nothing sexual, and no approaches. Wonday is not a dating app and not a place to be pursued. No sexual content, no flirting with people who have not invited it, and never an intimate image somebody did not ask for. Sending one is a criminal offence in the UK, and we treat it that way.
6. No harassment. No bullying, no threats, no following someone around the app, no contacting anyone after she has asked you to stop, no posting anyone's private details.
7. No hate. Nothing attacking someone for who she is.
8. No selling. No adverts, no coaching pitches, no affiliate links, no asking anyone for money. If you are here to prospect, you are in the wrong place.
9. Nothing involving anyone under 18. Wonday is for adults. Child sexual abuse material is reported to the authorities and the evidence preserved. No appeal.
10. No fraud. No scams, no phishing, no investment pitches, no asking for money. If anyone asks you for money here, report them.
11. Do not encourage anyone to hurt themselves, and do not post graphic self-harm content. If you are in a bad place tonight, please talk to someone — your GP, or Samaritans on 116 123, free, any time.
12. One account, and no coming back after a ban.
13. Do not misuse Report. It is there so people can be safe.
These rules apply off the app too, if you met someone here.
Report or Block on any post, comment or profile. It reaches a private queue that only we read, and we never say who reported.
What we do depends on what happened and whether it has happened before: nothing, a word, removing a post, limiting a feature, closing an account. Anything involving a child, a credible threat or an intimate image skips straight to the end.
We will tell you what we did and why, and you can ask a person to look again.
How quickly. Anything involving a child, a credible threat, or an intimate image is treated as a priority and usually looked at within hours. Everything else, within two working days.
Most people here will never meet. If you do: somewhere public, tell someone where you are going, go at your own pace, leave if it feels wrong.
We do not check who anybody is. No identity checks, no background checks. We cannot vouch for anyone and we would rather say so.
